Question- What is the best rod and reel for around $200?
I'm a big fan. Coming to Florida in late September for our yearly trip. I'm wanting to buy my own rod and reel to take out on a head boat. I prefer spinning reels. Any suggestions for around $150-$200?

Shimano Spheros 8000 is around $200. This is an amazing reel that will last a long time (with proper care) and will be able to catch just about anything you may run into on your head boat.
A Shimano Baitrunner 8000 around is around $150 and would also be a great choice. You may be able to get away with a 6000 size and save a little money there. My advice is to spend the majority of your budget on the reel and pick up a rod that is capable of lifting the fish you may catch. This does not have to be a top level rod costing $700. The reel is the most important and a good quality reel will stand up to the fish and the saltwater.
