Steve Rodger's Tip for Keeping A Clean Deck

A clean boat is a happy boat.  When running charters day after day we are all looking for ways to reduce our clean up time at the end of every day.  Our clients do not always have ‘boat friendly’ shoes and at times here in Key West, they are wearing their shoes that they spent hours shopping and walking on world famous Duval Street and their soles get dirty, real dirty. 

A simple trick that I use to reduce this grime on my white deck is to wet a standard bath towel where my clients will board, hit it with a little degreaser and have them wipe their shoes prior to boarding- this eliminates the tough stains at the end of the day.
